E.T.C.Taliparama, kannur was
started in 1952 as a basic agricultural school to train the Gramasevakas(VEOs) in 1957-1958 this institution was converted into an Extension Training Centre.Sri.K.P.Nambiar was the first principal. In 1964 home science wing was added to this establishment.there is a model balawadi is attached to this centre. this training centre serves kasaragod, kannur, calicut, wayanad districts. Sri K.Yusuf (Deputy Development Commissioner & Principal) is heading the institution.we can proudly say E T C Taliparamba is acting as a training hub for different extension activities of government
